About this list of Informatics and Society organisations
This is a list of organisations that have relevance to Informatics & Society research, either by being research institutions themselves or by supporting them (such as grant agencies). Organisations have been attributed with keywords according to their self-descriptions on their websites as well as keywords of recent publications and research projects. While the institutions themselves show great diversity, the focus lies on Computer Science oriented institutions (as opposed to, for instance, Humanities based ones).
The data on this site is continually being collected by the Centre for Informatics and Society (CIS) at the Institute for Design & Assessment of Technology at the Vienna University of Technology.
